voice lessons

Whether you think you can sing or think you can't, if you want to get better at singing, I'm here to help you reach your goals. My studio is a safe, positive and enthusiastic zone where I guide my singers to uncover their full potential so that they can make the sounds they've always dreamed of.

#singingrevolution

Lessons with me aren't your grandma's singing lessons, okay?

There will be no "you must"s.

Your voice = Your journey

Don't want to perform? No sweat!

Don't have time to practice daily? Fine.

Only want to sing Taylor Swift? Cool!

Want to do it all and see where music can take you? HECK YEAH!

Whatever your goals are, that's what we work towards. My client-centered approach means that my singers get to explore their voices in a way that feels authentic and good to them.

(Parents: this also means that your child is going to WANT to practice because they're working on things they're passionate about.  So sneaky, right?!)

Aliah is the definition of a singer’s coach! Her knowledge and skill is matched only by her enthusiasm and dedication to her students. She well versed in vocal technique and production regardless of what style/genre of song is being sung.

the method

I have had the distinct privilege and pleasure of singing and performing from coast to coast, and after working with a ton of vocalists, there's one thing I have learned is true for all singers - it's not just about how the voice works, but how the brain works!

YUP! The way we think about our singing has a tangible impact on the sound we produce. I work with my students to help them gain not just the vocal skills, but also the mental skills that allow them to feel confident both on and off the stage.

Speaking of brains, I am also one of just a handful of Neuro-Vocal Method certified teachers in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD. This method of coaching singers means we tap into powers of brain science by doing some simple (yet, admittedly kind of weird) exercises to help us learn new vocal skills, or refine old ones, very quickly.
